Mum, does God wear a white T-shirt?

Well baby, I don't know- said I, the least religious Mummy on the planet- You see  no-one has ever seen God...

'Cept  me Mum.

You've seen God, Finley?

Yeah.. know yesterday when I was  doing boogey-ing  in the dining room?

Yes, said I picturing him shimmying in and out of a shaft of sunlight....

I was  dancing in God's torch then Mum. He was shining it on me.

Well goodness me Finley, that means you are a very special little boy...

I am special Mum, when I close my eyes, there are rainbows in my head.

There are rainbows in my little boys head. Oh that we should all be so very blessed.

Gives me chills. What a lovely little boy and a lovely mummy, too! :) I'm "favoriting" your wonderful blog...soooo sweet here. Love it!
hugs to you!

Very sweet! Very nice post, Ma'am!

Oh that's the sweetest thing I've read today. Boogieing in the Light with rainbows in his head. Sometimes we adults are to busy for the most important things.

That is so very sweet!!

dear little soul....he is just so adorable....

How can you just not eat him up?!
He is so adorable and smart and sensitive!
And....I LOVE that last picture....pure, simple love of fun, life and "being"!
Hugs to you both!!

My heart just melts upon reading Finley's pronouncements! Thank you for sharing him with us...you both remind us of what's really important in this life.

Ah, thank that sweet boy for giving us a glimpse of heaven and pure joy here on earth. We are not religious in my house, either, but sometimes my 5 year old daughter says things about God that make me believe that He does communicate His love through their innocent little beings.

Finley is precious, both inside and out. What a special momma you are for raising such a special human being! Thanks for sharing a story that brought a sunny smile to a cold and dreary day.

I love love love your blog. It is beautiful. Your son is absolutely gorgeous! What a sweet soul.

Aw.... Couldn't be more dear. I want those rainbows to stay in his head forever....

Out of the mouths of babes. :) I love your blog and this post is so charming. I'm guessin we'd all be lighter in spirit if we stood in the light and boogied more often! Thank you Finley!

divine!

You have a rare, magic little man there. How wonderful to be dancing in God's torch! :)

Hi, I found your blog a while back but then somehow lost it.
I am pleased to have found you all over again.
What a lovely story and photos of a cuddle chap.

Sounds like you're doing a really good job, Alison. What a happy little guy!

This made me so happy to read... thank you for sharing it with us!

I love Finley's little pronouncements. I so hope you journal them and make a book to remind you of all his adorableness when he grows up.

Precious! It's raining here today -I hope I can find some rainbows in my head.

So sweet.I hope he always has rainbows in his head x
