Oh I did enjoy my little walk with you. I love to go walking in residential areas having a good nosey at the insides of houses. I really enjoyed hearing about your neighbourhood. I could really imagine it from your description.

Thank You for a lovely tour of where you live. I was there picturing the house's, and wondering about their occupants with you.
Great writing :-)

Thanks for letting us tag along. On the road we live on I think house peeping is compulsory.I love when people walk past and try to peep in or even stop a while behind the gate posts where they think we can't see.Maybe one day I should invite them in for a glass of wine and a chocolate or two?

I feel all refreshed now after that crisp winter walk.
I've been lurking on your blog for months now, and it's only since Christmas that I've begun to suspect that you possibly live close to where I used to live. I might even have walked these streets before.

Just fab Alison! What fun! I do this aswell....I often get inspired by the houses I look into...what to do and what not to do!

The walk was great fun! Thanks!

Oh my...I have been reading your blog for months now and am just leaving a comment. How awful am I?
But this post was so dear and lovely...I feel as if I have been on a sweet get away to a cherished friend's home. And we have just taken a leisurely stroll, on a crisp Winter's evening as the sky turns all sorts of watercolor hues.
You are an amazing writer and I feel so lucky to have this place to visit each day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Love and hugs,
Sue

Just Lovely.I need a little bit of quiet English night while living in the desert that is Las Vegas.

Karla

What a wonderful evening stroll you've taken us on. I can picture your quiet neighborhood all settled in for the evening. Thanks for inviting us along, Alison. You give a tour like no one else.

Gayla

Well, well. Indeed a little walk with you has unimaginably, touched my soul once again. Thanks for the breath of English air this morning. And since I cannot, have not been able to go for a long walk for so long, I'm kind of breathless, teary-eyed, and mumbly.. but thanks. It was a beautiful trip. Come inside my house for a cup?
