Our silly little house is bursting - the dining room is also my office and paint studio, so next to the antique buffet and matching dining room set is a 4x5 painting of a candy store on an easel unfinished, my desk is full of sketch books, books, 3 huge bowls full of pens and markers, paint and paint brushes and buried there is also my computer, scanner and printer. And our guest room is my husbands music studio, with just enough room to squeeze your way to the futon on the opposite of the door. :-)

very interesting,,,i am amazed with the story....i would find that interior designer to design my future house....hmmmmm...i hope i am in the right track

3 mounted deer heads, and a stuffed wild turkey...my husbands "treasures." At least they are in the basement.

A clothesline strung across my mudroom with dozens and dozens of paintings, drawings and crafts hung by clothespins.

A painted mug that looks like a face with grass "hair" sunning itself in the window, by my five-year-old.

A pink Victorian dollhouse in my living room.

Photo of my husband with a plastic knife "running" through the top of his head on the fridge.

Baskets of childrens books in every room of the house.

Crayons and markers, glue sticks, glitter and stickers flowing out of my beautiful French-Roccoco armoire.

Why hide it?

I have willingly given our family room over to my children. It has become a room fit for any daycare... nearly every square inch of its three walls is covered in artwork: from toddler scribbles to 4th grade masterpieces. I wouldn't have it any other way! The fourth wall consists mostly of glass sliders which lead out to the deck, so if staring at three walls of artwork starts dizzying you, you can look out at the beautiful backyard.
